In early 2024, we started losing money each month here at RealPars.

How We Turned RealPars Profitable Again - Video

Below you can see the exact profit numbers for each month of 2024. These are not made up. These are real numbers, and this is actually the first time we’re sharing this publicly.

RealPars Profit for the year 2024

As you can see, in March we lost about 5K, and this happened again in April.

In June, we lost 13K, and then in July, we lost 20 K.

This is what you can see on this chart below as well. July was our worst month.

So I had to make some hard decisions, which were basically focused on reducing cost and increasing revenue.

To reduce cost, I looked into every cost item and tried to cut any expense that we could.

I reduced my own salary, almost by half, stopped using software we were not really using, and had to pause our collaborations with some of the contractors we were working with. I even had to give our office back and started to work from home for a while, which, to be honest, was not easy at all.

But all of these resulted in our monthly cost going from about 70K per month to about 50K per month, which was a 20K saving in monthly cost.

At the same time, to increase our revenue, I hired a part-time team member in the U.S. for our sales team.

We also focused massively on increasing our website conversion rate, and we were able to increase this metric by 30% each quarter.

Our sales team in the Netherlands also did a great job in Q4, bringing in some new enterprise deals.

So all of these actions combined resulted in our revenue going from 46K per month in July to 62K in December.

This resulted in our profit chart changing from going down each month to going up each month.

And it actually continued to go up for this year as we operated with the same principle of keeping the cost down and increasing our revenue.

As you can see in the chart below for Q4–2024, meaning the last three months of 2024, we started to become profitable and were able to profit a total of about 6K for the whole quarter.

For Q1–2025, meaning the first three months of 2024, our profit went up from about 10K in December to 17K in January, then 21K in February, and then 24K for March.

So we went from about 6K in profit for Q4–2024 to about 60K in profit for the next quarter. It’s the same strategy of reducing cost and increasing revenue while trying to add more value to the customers.

Of course, this does not mean that everything is now fine and there are no challenges. Of course, there are.

Challenge is always part of any business, but the goal is to solve each challenge, learn from it, and grow.

One thing that I also need to add is that back in July last year, when we were losing 20K per month, I knew that in addition to reducing cost and increasing profit, I also needed some outside help and guidance.

I was watching this guy, Ryan Deiss, on YouTube, and I liked how he was teaching stuff about running an efficient business. I joined their community and was assigned an advisor. I also had some chances to directly ask advice from Ryan. This was a great help at the time when I needed it the most. It helped and gave me the extra push to make some tough decisions, and I’m still part of their community.

I’m not affiliated with them by any means, but if you want some real business guidance, just Google Ryan Deiss or the Scalable community to learn more about them. Hope this breakdown helps you if you’re going through a tough quarter.
